Hi! My name is Mr. Hunter and I love being a part of the Vineland Elementary team. I was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN and moved to Englewood, FL over twenty years ago. I graduated college from Indiana University…GO HOOSIERS!, with a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies and a love for working with children.
When I first moved to Florida I worked for the YMCA as the ChildCare Director and ran the program in the cafeteria at Vineland Elementary. My teaching career started with Island Village Montessori in Venice, FL where I taught third and fourth grade for eight years and was Principal for the last four years.
I am married to a wonderful woman, Mrs. Verna, who is the registrar at the school I came from. We have a beautiful daughter, Faith, who attends Lemon Bay High School and loves cheerleading. We also have two dogs, Taylor and Raven, that we all adore. I love to spend my free time at the beach and camping with my family. I look forward to helping you be the best student you can be!
