Mrs. Swartz

Nancy Swartz joined Vineland Elementary School in 2000. For the past 29 years as an educator, she has taught grades K-3. Nancy Swartz was born and raised in Naperville, Illinois, which is a suburb of Chicago. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from University of Eau Claire in Wisconsin. She then received her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University.

Mrs. Swartz enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married for almost 17 years to her husband Wayne. We are the very happy parents to a 2-year-old Golden Retriever named Bentley and a calico cat named Stella. Mrs. Swartz has two grown boys. Christopher is 31 and lives in South Carolina. Eric, 33, lives in Mississippi with his wonderful wife, Dot. Mrs. Swartz has always wanted to be a teacher. There is no doubt that this is where she belongs. She firmly believes in open communication with her families, while providing a fun learning experience as we grow as learners and leaders.

Personal Mission Statement: I will provide a positive, engaging, win-win environment where students love to learn new things, encourage others and work to become life long leaders.
