    Mission Statement

     

    Hello! It is going to be an exciting year in second grade! My last name is pronounced “Worth”, and I am a Florida native who grew up in nearby Hardee County. I attended both the University of Florida and Florida Southern College. I have lived in the Englewood area since 1998. This is my 21st year of teaching. I have previously taught kindergarten, first, and fourth grades. I am married and have two sons. In my free time, I enjoy boating or fishing with my family.

          Myakka River is a great school with wonderful students! I know that with your support we can make second grade a wonderful experience for your child. I look forward to a successful school year! Be MIGHTY!
