Mr. Chris Strykowski
Mr. Strykowski is new to Charlotte, having just moved to southwest Florida with his family in July 2023. He has spent the past 23 years teaching social studies and coaching in Indianapolis at Roncalli High School. Over the years, he taught a combination of Geography, US History, World History and Current Events.
In addition to teaching at the school, he also coached baseball and football where he won five state championships as Special Teams Coordinator. He also served in several different roles within the athletic department, including positions such as game manager, stadium supervisor, announcer, in-game entertainment director and clock operator to name just a few. Most recently, he served as the school's Sports Information Director organizing all score reporting, writing press releases, updating the website, producing media guides and game notes and handling social media posts.
Chris has been married to his wife Lynne for 23 years and has two children - Austin who is 18 and attends Miami (Ohio) University and Addie who 12 and attends St. Andrew's Catholic School.
