Welcome to English! This year you can expect to improve your reading, writing, and analytical skills. It is my goal to create a classroom environment that is rigorous, exciting, and student-centered. This year will be a new adventure for all of us, and I'm looking forward to taking this journey together.
Biography
The 2023-2024 school year is my fourth year at Charlotte High School. In July of 2020, I moved to the area from a small town in the mountains of Colorado. I have taught both English and Social Studies in grades 6-12 for the past nineteen years. I am excited to be back at CHS and I can't wait to meet my students and their families. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and spending quality time with my husband, adult children, and grandaughter.
