Hello! My name is Dana Gromoll and I am proud to be a first grade teacher at Sallie Jones Elementary School. I was born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey and since 2008 I am happy to call sunny Florida my home. I graduated from Georgian Court University in New Jersey with a B.A. in general psychology and certification in general education as well as exceptional student education (ESE). I have also worked to add endorsements for ESOL and reading to my certificate. When I'm not doing what I love in the classroom, you can find me enjoying time at the beach, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. 

My mission is to meet the diverse needs of each student so that they can continue to build a foundation for life-long learning. I strive to foster an environment in which students feel valued, inspired, successful, and share an enthusiasm to learn and explore.
