Welcome to the Library!
My name is Mrs. Cole and I am the Sallie Jones Media Specialist. I have been with Sallie Jones for 11 years now, WOW, and 9 years seeing everybody in the library.
I graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor's Degree in Child Dev/Family Relations in 1996. Right after graduating my husband and I came upon an incredible opportunity and became motel owners/operators in the mountains of North Carolina. After 15 years, we both really missed working with kids so we moved home to Punta Gorda. I was blessed to have the opportunity to be the Family Center liasion here at Sallie Jones for 2 years before becoming the Media Specialist, a wonderful position! We have 2 children, Maureen (who many of you know from Publix) and my "baby" boy Connor.
I look forward to getting to see and know everyone of you, and hope you can discover the joy of reading in the library!
About Me:
I have been the Sallie Jones Media Specialist for 9 years now. I love my job and enjoy getting to know every student in our school. Outside of school I spend all of my time with my wonderful family, my husband Derrick and my 2 children Maureen and Connor. We love to travel and visit amusement parks!
